Introduction to "Paid To"
In a nutshell what "Paid to" is is companies which
will pay you for different tasks.
These tasks usually include things like "Paid to surf", "Paid to read e-mail",
"paid to search",
or many other similar tasks.
These companies most usually allow regular people to join free of charge.
How do
these companies offer free memberships & still pay members you might
be asking. Easy.
These companies are middlemen between advertizers and you, the consumer.
Advertizers
pay the sites for the right to have their message delivered to the consumer.
Usually through
targetting your personal interests. The sites take this money, pay
members a portion, and
whatever is left over is used for company expenses & profit if profit
is made.
The most important aspect of these companies is the ability to "refer"
new members
and to profit from their efforts. What this means is that with each
company offering referral
income, comes a link specifically for referring new members. Everytime
a new person uses
your personal referral URL when signing up, you are credited with a new
member personally
referred. Companies offer varying rates for referrals just as they
will for your personal
earnings. Essentially the more people you are able to refer who are
active members, the
more you will earn. Many companies offer multiple referral levels
as well. Meaning you
will also earn not just direct referral income, but income of those your
referrals refer, and
sometimes income from the referrals your referrals referrals refer(hope
i didn't lose you
*laughs*). There are even some companies out today who offer as many
as 20 levels of
referrals.
When joining a new site, be sure to choose wisely. Some sites may
look like a
tremendous opportunity, but looks can be deceiving at times. Always
be sure to read a
sites Terms Of Service(TOS) to be safe and to familiarize yourself with
each sites individual
rules. The old saying rings true. Better safe than sorry.
There are some good opportunities
online for those who will take the time and put
in the effort. You will not get rich by any means, but with marginal
effort you can earn a
decent chunk of pocket change.
